About the Red Dzi Bead
Dzi (pronounced "zee") is a Tibetan word meaning "shine, brightness, splendour." This is a Red Dzi / Blood Dzi — the same traditional etching technique as the classic black Dzi, but fired on a carnelian agate base, giving it its signature warm red-brown colouring instead of black.
